Coaches Spotlight: Katie Bolgioni
Coach Katie loves all things cardio! While she doesn’t love deadlifts, you are bound to see her adding pull-ups and handstand push-ups into any workout she programs. Learn more about Katie below.
Q: How did you get started in fitness?
When I was 15, I used to go to the high school gym after school to kill time before my mom could pick me up. It was either that or walking 3 miles home. We didn’t have buses!
Q: Why did you decide to become a coach?
I love fitness so much and wanted to pass that love on to other people and hopefully make them excited to workout with me.
Q: What is one thing you want the members to know about you?
I talk so much I feel like everyone knows me already 😂
Q: What is your favorite movement to do in a workout? Least favorite?
Burpees/Deadlifts-high volume they get so ugly.
Q: What is your favorite movement to coach?
Pull-ups and handstand push-ups.
Q: Favorite post-workout snack?
RX bar- all about that coconut chocolate 🍫
Q: Top 3 songs on a workout playlist?
No one likes my playlist 😂
Q: What’s your favorite thing about R3vive?
I love the community. Best gym community in Boston, hands down!
Q: What’s in your gym bag?
Nothing- I need to get my own jump rope so I stop stealing Derek’s 😂
Q: What is your favorite thing about coaching?
Seeing people do something they have been practicing, like dubs, pull-ups, anything! That first one they get, the smile on their faces is priceless: It’s so cool to see hard work pay off.
