Introducing our Gym M.O.M. (Member of the Month) for September 2024 … Katya Erilj!

Katya is a regular 6 am’er, who’s work ethic has been consistent since the day she first joined us. Aside from Katya’s work ethic, she is a kind heated individual who who is coach-able and always willing to help others (including us!). We’ve seen how much progress she has made over the last month, making her an easy choice for gym MOM, for the month of September.

Learn more about Katya below:

Q: What made you decide to start functional fitness training?
I wanted to try a new way of strengthening my body to help prevent further injury. The training has left me amazed with what my body is capable of and has challenged my fear of being unable to function “normally” after living with so much pain.

Q: What are some of your favorite things about R3VIVE?
I wanted to try a new way of strengthening my body to help prevent further injury. The training has left me amazed with what my body is capable of and has challenged my fear of being unable to function “normally” after living with so much pain.

Q: What advice do you have for someone considering our gym?
YOU are always welcome! We all want to be experts when we try something new for the first time, but training here is a skill that you develop over time, just like any sport or instrument, practice is needed to see change and improve. Everyone here started from the same place you are starting- give it a go!

Q: Tell us an interesting fact that we probably don’t know about you…
When I was 15 I climbed the tallest mountain in Costa Rica, took 10hrs of hiking with 30lbs on my back to reach the lodge, then the second day another 4hrs to reach the summit- with snow!
