R3VIVE Fitness is proud to announce the partnership of FITAID beverages, for sale at CrossFit Dudley!

You may have already noticed some of your coaches and fellow members grabbing a FITAID after class. We wanted to shed some light on what FITAID is and some of its benefits.

FITAID is a recovery drink made to help you recover after a workout, especially after an intense CrossFit session with us. It contains ingredients that AID in your recovery, such as BCAA’s, Omega 3’s, Glucosamine, Quercetin, Turmeric, B-complex, green tea, and vitamins C, D, and E.

Benefits of FITAID

Key benefits include:

  • BCAA’s: The building blocks of protein and assist with the repair of muscles and ligaments.
  • Omega 3’s and CoQ10: Essential in cardiovascular health and help protect from coronary heart disease.
  • Glucosamine, Quercetin, and Turmeric: Help our body fight inflammation that can occur from an intense CrossFit class.
  • B-complex and green tea: Helps us recover some of the energy stores after a demanding WOD.
  • Vitamins C, D, and E: Included to help boost our Immune system that might need to recover from the stress of a hard workout.
  • Calcium, Magnesium, and Potassium: Make up the electrolyte blend to help hydrate and repair damaged tissue without added sodium.

Aside from all the benefits offered, we should also mention they taste good!

Next time you finish a CrossFit class, give one a try. If your interested they are located up by the front desk. Just ask a coach for help. Let us know what you think!

What is the March of Dimes? The March of Dimes is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the health of mothers and babies, with a focus on preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality. Learn more about the March of Dimes here. Why is it important to us? We are excited to host a workout in support of the March of Dimes and the South Shore Hospital NICU team. My sister-in-law, Amanda Dougherty, and my nephew, Owen Dougherty, received a lot of care during Owen's premature and traumatic birth. Amanda and her family will be walking on the SSH NICU/SCN team in the March for Babies walk on May 9th, and we would love to support her by donating to the cause and helping other families in need. When's the charity class? We would love for everyone to come join us, no matter your fitness level, in support of this great cause. The class will be hosted on Sunday, April 12th, at 11 am. T-shirts will also be available for purchase as a preorder up until March 27th. All proceeds from registration of this event and profits from all shirts purchased will be donated to the SSH NICU/SCN team under Amanda Dougherty. Donate and Jump into Class If you would like to donate more, you can go directly to Amanda’s page and donate here.
