Introducing our Gym M.O.M. (Member of the Month) for March 2024 … Anchit Dhar!
Since Anchit has joined us, it’s been nothing but hard work and dedication from him. His humble attitude stands out amongst coaches and his peers, making him a valuable addition to our gym’s community.
Aside from his commitment to training consistently with us, Anchit is also aware of the work required outside of the gym to help him meet his personal goals. He’s committed to his health and wellness outside of our gym, focusing on his nutrition and rest, approaching these things like he does his workouts, with a laser focus and commitment!

Q: What made you decide to start functional fitness training?
After a long hiatus from working out through the pandemic, I really wanted to get my fitness back on track. I was looking for a format where I could build my strength and cardio endurance at the same time. Functional fitness training checked all the boxes, along with the small group setting which is good in keeping me motivated.
Q: Are you a student/working professional/both? What do you do for a living?
I work as an AI engineer for a software company in Boston metrowest.
Q: What are your hobbies/interests outside of the gym?
I really enjoy biking in my free time. Anytime I need to unwind or clear my head, I just grab my bike for a ride. Apart from this, you could call me a bit of an aviation geek too.
Q: What are some of your favorite movements (name up to three)?
Bench Press & Back Squats.
Q: What are some of your least favorite movements?
Burpees, Burpees & Burpees!
Q: What movement do you want to improve at?
Snatches & Clean+Jerks
Q: What advice do you have for someone considering our gym?
Do it! You will not regret it. What sets R3vive apart is the strong sense of community and the non-judgmental welcoming atmosphere. No matter where your fitness level is at, your coaches and classmates are always there encouraging you to give your best. With consistency, you will surprise yourself with what you will be able to achieve in a short period of time. With the coaches personally committed to supporting your growth and fabulous gym-mates, motivation and accountability gets easier here.
Q: What is your favorite “cheat” meal?
A nice big slice of tres leches!
Q: What is your guilty pleasure?
A weekend of just playing Zelda.
Q: Tell us an interesting fact that we probably don’t know about you!
I hold a black belt in karate. Haven’t practiced in over two decades now, but hope to get back to it at some time.
